They are based on two main circuits: an extremely stable current source + a high impedance and very accurate voltage measurement system for real 4 wire measurement method (also called Kelvin method)

DO6 Ohmmeter
Covering a wide range of measurements from 1 micro ohm to 200 kilo ohm, the DO6 ohmmeter is a comprehensive ohmmeter with many features incorporated as standard. These benefits include manual and automatic range selection; temperature compensation for copper, referencing the measurement of copper to 20°C; voltage limiting facility for those wishing to measure switch contact resistance to International Standards, the measurement voltage is limited to 20mV. An RS232 serial interface gives full talk / listen capability, making it simple to add to an automated measuring system. Hi / Lo limits may be set over the interface with voltage-free contacts being available on the rear panel. For those wishing to measure inductive circuits e.g. motor windings, a special protection circuit may be initiated thus avoiding any problems that may arise due to induced high voltage.

DO4002 Microhmmeter
The D04002 digital microhmmeter offers true portability without any sacrifice to accuracy or functionality. This microhmmeter is a ruggedly constructed instrument is housed in a stylish plastic case with easy to use keyboard. The measured values are displayed on a large LCD screen which allows for ease of viewing. Automatic or manual range selection is available and many advanced features are included.

The DO7e is a practical low cost microhmmeter for low resistance measurement, ideal for use in the workshop, field or test facilities. This micro ohmmeter is of rugged construction, contained in a sealed ABS plastic case with lid and carrying handle.
The DO7e microhmmeter has many advanced features, including protection up to 415 volts rms at the measuring terminals, digital calibration and long scale length, 6000 count. The measuring ranges may be automatically or manually selected. Rechargeable batteries means real portability with more than 1 hour of continuous operation on the lowest ranges, and 20 hours on all others. Automatic Power Off ensures maximum battery life. The internal charger will boost charge to 90% of full charge, switching automatically to a trickle maintenance charge. Warning LEDs illuminate when an open circuit lead condition is detected.

DO7010 Portable Microhmmeter
The DO7010 portable microhmmeter is a practical instrument for low resistance and bonding resistance measurement, ideal for use in the workshop, field or test facilities. It is of rugged construction, contained in a sealed case.
The DO7010 microhmmeter has many advanced features including, Auto ranging, Auto power off, Auto measure trigger when leads are connected to the DUT, data logging, replaceable battery pack, Hi-Lo limits , Graphics display with backlight, and built in test resistance for confidence check.
Rechargeable NiMhd batteries means real portability with more than 1000 readings from a single charge, to ensure that downtime is minimised the battery pack can be easily and quickly withdrawn from the front panel and replaced with a fully charged unit, battery charge indicators are provided.
A front panel socket provides a serial RS232 output which may connected direct to a PC or used with the optional remote terminal which will allow operation of the DO7010 up to 15 metres distance.

DO5002 Low Current Digital Microhmmeter
Open circuit voltage ~ 5V dc with Limit options for 20mV and 50mV
With all the functionality of the standard DO5000 but with limited measuring current and the ability to limit the open circuit voltage to either 20mV or 50mV. This model has been primarily developed to satisfy those applications where open circuit voltage and the measuring current needs to be limited. A typical application is for the measurement of switch contact resistance to conform to standards such as NFC93050.

DO8000 Transformer Winding Microhmmeter
The DO8000 diigtal ohmmeter can measure and save more than 10,000 high resolution test results, along with transformer nameplate data. With its expansive memory, bright LCD screen, and concise reports from its built in printer, this model sets the standard in test equipment. The DO8000 digital ohmmeter can store hundreds of files, each containing a virtually unlimited number of resistance measurements, with tap and winding details, and several fields of information about the transformer, its location, and the operator. The file manager makes this information easy to locate, open, view, and print past results. The DO8000 digital ohmmeter features 4.5 digit resolution and 0.25% accuracy for precise measurement of winding resistance. Input channels have sophisticated sigma-delta D/A converters and notch filters to eliminate the effects of substation noise.
